SHEPHERD, show me how to go O’er the hillside steep, How to gather, how to sow, How to feed Thy sheep; I will listen for Thy voice, Lest my footsteps stray; I will follow and rejoice All the rugged way.
Thou wilt bind the stubborn will, Wound the callous breast, Make self-righteousness be still, Break earth’s stupid rest. Strangers on a barren shore, Lab’ring long and lone, We would enter by the door, And Thou know’st Thine own.
So, when day grows dark and cold, Tear or triumph harms, Lead Thy lambkins to the fold, Take them in Thine arms; Feed the hungry, heal the heart. Till the morning’s beam; White as wool, ere they depart, Shepherd, wash them clean.
Mary Baker Eddy
So Jesus told them this story: “If a man has a hundred sheep and one of them gets lost, what will he do? Won’t he leave the ninety-nine others in the wilderness and go to search for the one that is lost until he finds it?Luke 15:4
“He shall feed his flock like a shepherd: he shall gather the lambs with his arm, and carry them in his bosom, and shall gently lead those that are with young.” Isaiah 40:11

Heavenly Father, You know every decision we need to make and every challenge we face each and every day. Please forgive us for the times that we try to figure this life out on our own. We need You Father, and we need Your Holy Spirit to give us strength, wisdom, and direction, to lead us on the path of Your choosing. Thank You Father. In Jesus name I pray,Amen. 🙏
As I look back on my life I find myself wondering… Did I remember to thank you for all that you have done for me? For all of the times you were by my side to help me celebrate my successes and accept my defeats? Or for teaching me the value of hard work, good judgement, courage, and honesty? I wonder if I’ve ever thanked you for the simple things… The laughter, smiles, and quiet times we’ve shared? If I have forgotten to express my gratitude For any of these things, I am thanking you now… and I am hoping that you’ve known all along, how very much you are loved and appreciated.
God could not be everywhere, and therefore he made mothers. – Rudyard Kipling
